About this Workshop

This two-hour introductory workshop is designed to explore the accessible, key concepts of Ayurveda and how it supports us in our relationship to ourselves. These foundational blocks give you an opportunity to learn about yoga’s sister science, its impact on you, and the recognition of how its influence and your knowledge of it can deepen your ability to step into health and longevity.

In this workshop, you can expect…

  • to learn about the five elements (earth, air, fire, water, space) and how they are present in the internal landscape of your body
  • to create meaningful rituals based on your needs, the time of day, and the shift of the seasons
  • to explore your relationship as an individual being to a much-larger, universal fabric
  • to reflect on some of Patanjali’s yoga sutras and their larger ethical, personal, and significant implications for us
  • to experience some physical postures as expressions of earth, air, fire, water, and space
